At Castle, we value the IP of every creator and adhere to copyright law. Our goal is to ensure that all content on our site is legal for viewing and sharing. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been stored in the platform without authorization, we encourage you to contact us.

1. Reporting Violations of Copyright

If you believe that Castle violates your copyright, please send us a DMCA takedown notice. Below is what we need from you in order to process your claim:
Description or representative list of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
See the exact URLs on there where you think that illegal info could be.
Offer your contact info: your name, phone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
To authenticate the request, use your digital signature.
Unless you know what you are talking about don't jump in and make accusations, I hope your allegation is correct because giving false info can cause a lawsuit.

2. What Happens After I Request Takedown?

We will respond to any takedown requests that comply with the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and other applicable intellectual property laws. Once removed we will inform the user who submitted content. The user may provide a counter-notice (see below) if the user believes that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.

3. Procedure for Counter-Notification

If you believe the takedown notice was incorrectly filed, or if your content had been removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification. Please add:
The deleted content and the URL or URLs at which it appeared.
A reason why the content shouldn’t have been removed.
A good faith statement that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Your electronic signature for confirmation.
Once received, we will send your counter notification to the original complainant. Their content may be restored if they do not pursue legal action.

4. Misuse of the DMCA Procedure

There could be legal consequences for filing false notices or abusing DMCA takedown process. Since Castle is committed to enforcing intellectual property rights and sharing in the equity in content production, please only submit a claim if you are acting in good faith.
